Our young adult sports conditioning program is designed to build strength, endurance, and agility to help young athletes excel in their chosen sports. This service focuses on developing core stability, improving overall athleticism, reducing the risk of injury, and making exercise fun. It’s tailored to the specific demands of various sports, providing young athletes at The Lifting Lab with the tools they need for peak performance.
The Lifting Lab offers specialized in-person training in women’s postpartum and pelvic floor corrective exercises. This program, with Dr. Aly Matejka, helps new mothers regain strength and stability, focusing on recovery and reinforcement of the pelvic floor. Our expert pelvic floor corrective exercise specialist provides safe, effective workouts that respect the body’s postpartum condition, aiding in a healthier recovery.
Our specialized training for chronic illness is designed to help members manage symptoms and improve quality of life through exercise tailored to their specific conditions. Understanding the challenges faced by those with chronic illnesses, our trainers create gentle yet effective regimens that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and energy levels, all within a supportive and understanding environment.
Trauma informed training at The Lifting Lab integrates physical fitness with psychological understanding to support healing and strength building. Not only does The Lifting Lab have neurodivergent trainers who understand the barriers to exercise those with mental health issues or neurodivergence have but they also help to provide and aid in proven solutions for those clients that makes fitness achievable for them even if exercise has not traditionally been accessible to them. Our trainers are educated on how trauma affects the body and mind, tailoring their coaching to be sensitive, inclusive, and empowering, ensuring a safe space for all participants.
We have worked with those that struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, BPD, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, C-PTSD, and more, adding to their continuum of care along with their other providers, encouraging seeking help and offering trusted referrals when necessary.
